8.Wish

Ok, maybe The Ark is not enough and there are other things too which are quite necessary if you want to survive in this world. One of those things is of course The Cure. I saw them first time in Roskilde 1995 when I was 16 years old and having time of my life with my best friend Raila. (She was only 15 and I still don't know how our mothers let us go there by ourselves but I'm really happy that they did.)

I was smart enough not to go to the front line but I think Raila was somewhere there in front. I remember that The Cure played in Orange-stage and I was back there dancing and jumping alone and I remember that people laughed at me but I didn't care. I was 16, it was a warm summer night and I was there alone in this big beautiful world listening The Cure. I was capable to do anything and I had the whole big future in my pocket, I was laughing and high without taking any drugs or alcohol. That concert was something that I will definitely remember for the rest of my life. I'm so grateful for that night.

The Cure's best album is of course "Wish". I don't even know what to say about it, just go and listen it yourself. But remember to choose the right moment when you start to listen it. A) You have to have enough time to really concentrate to that album and B) make sure that it's enough time since your heart was broken last time. It is so sad, so dangerous album if you are not feeling well. Some people say that it can be comforting album but I wouldn't say that, it's just too sad. If you listen it too much you might want to kill yourself, so be careful! But god, how beautiful it is! It's a perfect album if you have someone to hold you while listening...

And yes, in that album there is also The Cure's happiest song ever "Friday I'm in love", but don't let it fool you, others are really suicidal ones... Well, ok there is this other one too. I put it here because I have been really happy this week and I don't want to put here all those sad lyrics, but believe me, there are plenty of those in this album. But here we go, because today is perfect day for forgetting all your worries...
